About the doctor

Dr. López Medina holds a doctorate in medicine and specializes in Endocrinology and Clinical Nutrition. He is a teaching collaborator and clinical tutor for undergraduate and postgraduate training at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Málaga.

– Author of more than 30 publications in national and international journals, 20 book chapters, and over 50 presentations at congresses, lectures, conferences, and seminars.

– He is a member of the following scientific societies:

• Spanish Society of Endocrinology and Nutrition (SEEN). Member of the Lipids and Cardiovascular Risk group of SEEN.
• Andalusian Society of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Nutrition (SAEDYN). Member of the diabetes group of SAEDYN. Member of the nutrition group of SAEDYN.
• Spanish Society of Atherosclerosis.

– His areas of interest focus on thyroid pathology, type 1 and type 2 diabetes, obesity, and general endocrine-metabolic pathologies.
